Possessing a medical area of nearly 2000 square meters, the emergency department of Sir Run-Run Hospital is divided into the general diagnosis area, resuscitation room, observation room, emergency intensive care unit and other areas,according to the disease classification and rescuing treatment management concept. Including the resuscitation room,the observation room and the intensive care unit, there are a total of 30 sick-beds, providing quick, high quality medical services for all kinds of emergency patients.
Equipped with Thumper cardiopulmonary resuscitator, America GE ventilator, defibrillator, ECG monitor, automatic biochemical analyzer, blood gas analyzer, ultrasound and other advanced first aid equipment, the emergency department currently opens medical units such as resuscitation room, observation room, emergency laboratory and functional examination room, proving emergency medicine, surgery, emergency pediatrics and ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology services. The emergency department has a well-trained emergency medical staff including 14 doctors and 20 nurses with rich clinical experience. All the medical staff have bachelor degree or above, 5 with master degree, among them there are 1 associate chief physician and 7 deputy chief physicians.
With professional characteristics in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, emergency trauma, acute poisoning, severe multisystem disease and multiple organ failure, the emergency department is responsible for the treatment of acute and critically ill patients in Jiangning and surrounding areas.
