At 10:00 a.m. on June 28, a statue of Shaw Yifu of Sir Run Run Hospital was unveiled and the opening ceremony was held in the outpatient hall of the hospital. The hospital was jointly built by Nanjing Medical University and the People's Government in Jiangning district of Nanjing and it was funded and named by the Shaw foundation of Hong Kong. It is the second Shaw hospital in the country and the first in Jiangsu province.

Chen Qi:Nanjing Medical University party secretary.

Shen Hongbing:President of Nanjing medical university.

Lu Xiang:President of Nanjing medical university, dean of Sir Run Run Hospital.

Tang Jinhai:President of Nanjing Medical University, dean of the first affiliated Hospital.

Wang Xuehao:academician of China Academy of Engineering, director of Liver Transplant Center the first affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University.

Ji Guozhong:dean of the second affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University.
