On 16th March 2015, the dean of Oregon Health and Science University’s medical school, Professor Richardson, Professor Li Daqing from Pennsylvania State University, as well as two other professors, visited our hospital and talked about the cooperation between our universities. The director of our hospital, Lu Xiang and the vice directors, Cao Changcun and Song Haiwen, attended the meeting. 

In the NMU library conference room, president Lu described the development of NMU in recent years, our hospital's plans for further construction and its main objectives for the future. We exchanged perspectives and ideas about the systems of medical education in Chinese and American medical colleges. Later, accompanied by the leaders of our hospital, the guests visited our outpatient hall, internal medicine department, operating theater, inpatient wards, information center and so on. The visitors were fully satisfied by the hospital's design, plan, construction and orientation.

This successful visit laid the foundation for communication and cooperation between both sides, as each has expressed their expectations of the future.
