On 7th June 2016, chief executive of the Swedish institution, Anthony a. Armada, international affairs director, Zhuzhi, Wendy Zheng and UCM U.S.-China joint medical representative Wei Lu (Kenneth) visited our hospital. The vice-principal of Nanjing Medical University and the dean of Sir Run Run Hospital affiliated to NMU, Lu Xiang, the vice deans of Sir Run Run Hospital, Cao Changchun and Song Haiwen, along with the directors of clinical departments attended the meeting.

Both sides introduced the development histories and academic achievements of their respective medical institutions and their prospects for future development. They discussed the issue of mutual cooperation and launched a detailed discussion on the feasibility of telemedicine technology, how to promote professional technical communication in the fields of cancer, cardiovascular health and others. They also discussed mutual exchanges and mutual visits of medical staff as well as referrals in the case of critically ill patients.
